Haqeeqat is an all time great war movie made in our country. The war scenes are less in the movie but the shadows of war are throughout there in each and every sequence. This movie deals at length with the psyche of the soldiers who are trapped in danger with little resources as well as little energy left with them but the dream to go back. Haqeeqat is a 1995 Indian Bollywood film directed by Kuku Kohli and produced by N.R. What font are football numbers. It stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu in pivotal roles.
Kamini initially opposes this match, but subsequently relents and both get married. Shortly thereafter she gets pregnant and it is then she finds out that Ajay is not who he claims to be, and may have been responsible for killing her husband.
Yes, despite all that melodrama etc, it’s worth a watch. Somehow I never got around to seeing it on Doordarshan either (strange; I seem to have seen just about every film that was screened way back then, simply because there was nothing else to see!). Thankfully, it’s fairly easily available. No, Ruby Myers did act a lot, but I’ve always only seen her in very small roles. According to imdb, her last film was Dostana in 1980. The film in which I remember her as having a somewhat substantial role was Mere Humdum Mere Dost. She was often credited as Sulochana, by the way.
